Mr. Kyler R. James serves both as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Chief Economist for CMB Regional Centers. In his governmental affairs role, Mr. James is involved in the legislative, regulatory and policy environment of EB-5 to ensure integrity and long-term continuity of the program. Mr. James educates congressional offices, industry associations and lobbyists to better understand the need of a quality EB-5 program. As Chief Economist, Mr. James oversees a team of economists in analyzing and monitoring each of the projects receiving EB-5 investment funds through CMB. Mr. James has authored economic impact studies supporting all but the very earliest of CMB EB-5 limited partnerships. Prior to joining CMB Mr. James spent two years in Russia as a religious missionary and has obtained a Master’s degree in Russian studies from the University of Oregon. Mr. James’ educational background also includes degrees in economics from Boise State University (Bachelor’s) and University of South Florida (Master’s). Mr. James enjoys free time spent with his wife and four children and volunteering with his local church and the Boy Scouts of America.
