Robert Sloposky serves as Group Director and Senior Vice President at Signature Bank (NASDAQ:SBNY), a New York-based full-service commercial bank.
Mr. Sloposky brings more than 30 years of financial experience to his position and is a leader in financing, escrow services and strategic analysis for businesses, municipalities and government agencies qualifying under the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.
Before joining Signature Bank in 2009, Mr. Sloposky was a Vice President at HSBC managing a large commercial portfolio spanning clients including real estate developers, securities firms and government organizations. He also was the registered lobbyist for HSBC’s New York City operations.
Prior to embarking on his career in banking, Mr. Sloposky established his own real estate investment company, owning and operating more than 40 commercial properties over the course of 25 years.
Mr. Sloposky is a member of the Public Policy Committee of IIUSA, the national membership-based 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center industry. IIUSA’s primary mission is to make the EB-5 program a successful and permanent part of 21st century U.S. economic development policy through advocacy, education, industry development and research. He lectures on EB-5 across the United States and China as well as in emerging EB-5 international markets.
Mr. Sloposky holds a Bachelor’s Degree in financial management from Seton Hall University, and he was among the first to be admitted to the Master’s Degree program at Seton Hall’s School of Diplomacy, which featured classes at the United Nations with instruction by leading diplomats from around the world. Mr. Sloposky resides in New York City and in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
